Just on a roady and in esperance at the moment. Got a call Sunday afternoon telling me that i need to be in Sydney asap!

Booked a flight last night. Flying out of esperance tonight, arrive in Perth and change over straight back to Sydney. Arriving at Sydney at 6:10am and going straight into a tafe course at 8am for 6hrs. From there find accommodation and the start work first light Wednesday morning for a few good weeks hopefully more...

Last minute call and was pumped on making things happen and my heart has a good feeling about this!

I strongly believe God has called me to this and have been praying for some change lately and new areas in my life...

Till then, came across this in a shop waiting for my exhaust to be fixed. By me one and I'll marry you!

Today went down to the beach to have a stroll, wasnt much surf happening and its resting time. Just took a few random snaps and filmed some arb clips for the new Dont Stop Dreaming DVD.

Off to help a friend shoot a wedding down in Margaret river tomorrow at 8am, least the sun is showing its face again :)

About a year and a half.


what got you started?
Started playing around with cameras and found it real interesting. Then for my 18th birthday got my own and loved it. I think i just love capturing moments i've experienced in life and sharing them with other people. I've grown up around the ocean, bodyboarding as much as possible with friends and surfing photography would have to be my favorite to capture.


so you just started shooting water, how you finding it?
Yeah its pretty good, so many more doors open when you can shoot from water. Its alot harder then i thought and cant wait to work with some good riders in good conditions.

I hate summer.

River Mouth Madness

Today spent most the day having a fun paddle at Gas bay and cruising around and chilling out. In the afternoon we decided to hit up the river mouth shorebreak with some fun backwash...good way to end the day and got out and took a few random snaps for keep sakes.

PERTH -> SOUTH

Last week in Perth, got the premiere for Grow Up this friday night should be pretty darn nuts!

Heading down to Margs on Saturday morning as swell is pumping Sat and Sunday, been given the heads up by a bunch of photographers also, guess theres only one answer to this...

More waves...

with last minute calls before the weekend, shane niener and i decided to skip the lame crowds of margs and do some adventuring for uncrowded waves, we heading down on saturday lunch time and so was the beginning of our litte escaped!

we rushed down for the susnet shots / timelapses with about 30mins to spare, but only to get the worst susnet ever. to funny. we arrived where we were going to camp out for the night (sleep in a car full of mozzies) and decided to do some star / night shots as no lights and the whole galaxy above was so amazing! unfortunately only had my 70 - 200mm so would prove quite difficult indeed. after about trying to work out some settings in pitch black darkness and about 20mins later was about to give up when shane noticed i still had my lens cap on, rookie of note! haha to funny. oh well still not much came out and shane got some good shots with his wider lenses!

the next day we missioned around and all day was just perfect madness breaking all over the show, wow! with most these spots you need a ski to get to them as they are outer bombies or you cant get to them cause of the rocks without swimming a whole bays length, not a good idea in those shark filled waters..

we arrived back at midnight last night after a long fruitful day and the pics and watching the waves was just amazing enough! scored some sick wedge just the two of us and missed the sickest sunset yesterday...oh well, win some lose some!
