with last minute calls before the weekend, shane niener and i decided to skip the lame crowds of margs and do some adventuring for uncrowded waves, we heading down on saturday lunch time and so was the beginning of our litte escaped!
we rushed down for the susnet shots / timelapses with about 30mins to spare, but only to get the worst susnet ever. to funny. we arrived where we were going to camp out for the night (sleep in a car full of mozzies) and decided to do some star / night shots as no lights and the whole galaxy above was so amazing! unfortunately only had my 70 - 200mm so would prove quite difficult indeed. after about trying to work out some settings in pitch black darkness and about 20mins later was about to give up when shane noticed i still had my lens cap on, rookie of note! haha to funny. oh well still not much came out and shane got some good shots with his wider lenses!
the next day we missioned around and all day was just perfect madness breaking all over the show, wow! with most these spots you need a ski to get to them as they are outer bombies or you cant get to them cause of the rocks without swimming a whole bays length, not a good idea in those shark filled waters..
we arrived back at midnight last night after a long fruitful day and the pics and watching the waves was just amazing enough! scored some sick wedge just the two of us and missed the sickest sunset yesterday...oh well, win some lose some!
