Margs Weekend

Just met up with Wade and Jake on Saturday morning just gone, at 6am we hit the road down to Margs for a weekend of good fun!

we rocked upto some pretty good solid firing box with a bunch of kook surfers out. Amaray was out before out and even the bombs he was taking off on the surfers were burning him...so ja he didnt stay out long.

First time paddled box and got some nuggets none the less, some inside deep bombs with good 4 - 6ft... was pretty stoked with much time out the water was loving the sesh with a nice air forward out the bowl, solid backflip and huge roll into the flats that almost knocked my arm out my socket...felt good to be back in action! Wade H, got some bombs on the DK and was killing it out there. Our friend Jake was getting cleaned up on the inside with constant bad luck, to funny and good times....

chilled at Pia and Phillipa's camper home for the night and ended up scoring some super good fun Cobbles the next morning for the whole day. Had heaps of good fun waves and super shallow flat reef but with some nice boost sections if you feel brave enough.

Met some booger kids out there that were at Box the day before getting some inside ones, super cool kid about maybe 10 - 12 years of age called Lachia that has super good potential and from Trigg area.

We all got some super fun waves throughout the day, was pretty stoked with a solid ARS and massive backflip out the bowl in less then knee deep reef....starting to feel alive and more pumped then ever to push on hard now!!

Back in Perth now and was only a weekend trip, good fun and so much surfing and absolutely smashed. This week is pretty chilled and not much swell. Going to be working on the GoPro housing, Matts old housing fixing the leak, hopefully my Canon 7D arrives and my wettie from Reeflex should be coming through tomorrow or wednesday.
